Career Planning QuickTips
We selected immediately-useful Canadian resources to help you explore career options and make education choices. Resources are organized into categories based on the steps of career planning. An introductory page allows you to select your situation and get suggestions on initial action steps. http://careerquicktips.sheridancollege.ca
Idea Generator
A brief 5-10 minute questionnaire allows you to identify your basic career interest pattern and get suggestions on Sheridan programs to match your profile. It is *not* a comprehensive career assessment but it is a great source of ideas and starting points for what to take at Sheridan. http://ideagenerator.sheridancollege.ca
Career Planning Micro-Course
For something more indepth than the Idea Generator, the micro-course has been designed by Career Counsellors to walk you through the career planning process so that you can set goals and make educational plans to move toward them. Education is your route to a career destination, so choosing a program starts with choosing a career direction.
