Three types of tutoring are available through the Career Centre. For more information, and related resources, select options from the menu to the left.
- Tutoring in English, Math, Java and Gaming is provided by staff tutors, who are senior co-op students from the University of Waterloo or the University of Guelph. They are available Monday-Friday in the learning commons and also offer daily drop-in times. There is no cost to access this service. More info on staff tutoring.
- Tutoring in subjects other than English, Math, Java and Gaming is provided by Peer Tutors, who are Sheridan students selected based on their marks and a faculty reference. They can provide assistance with specific subjects, based on availability. There is a nominal cost to access this service. More info on peer tutoring.
- Tutoring in popular subjects like Basic Computing, Accounting, Java, and Life Drawing is provided by Peer Group Tutors, who are Sheridan students selected based on their marks and a faculty reference. They can provide assistance with popular subjects, based on availability. Group tutoring is often free. Email class@sheridanc.on.ca for more information on the Group Tutoring schedules.
