SHERIDAN RESEARCH POLICIES

Sheridan is dedicated to developing and maintaining an international standard in applied research.  To ensure that we are able to meet our mandate, and to create successful projects, Sheridan Research has established a comprehensive set of research policies.  Sheridan is an active member of CONII, and abides by the benchmark standards and policies developed in partnership with other institute of research across Ontario.

Applied Research Intellectual Property Policy (April 2010)

Sheridan is engaged in Applied Research the main purpose of which is to generate ideas and innovations while encouraging educational innovation and creativity.  This policy thus deals with the disposition of the IP generated by Applied Research by Employees of Sheridan.

Sheridan recognizes the importance of the preservation of human dignity and the ethical treatment of any human participants involved in research.
