Convocation 2012( June 11 – June 14) – Information for Students

Request Convocation Guest Tickets
All graduates and potential graduates must complete the Apply to Graduate Form and request Convocation guest tickets online through AccessSheridan.
If you have forgotten or misplaced your username or password, our Contact Centre can assist you. Please call 905-845-9430 and select option #3 for Continuing Education or option #4 for Postsecondary.
Step 1 – Login to AccessSheridan, follow the link to "
myStudent Centre" and click on Apply to Graduate. Complete and submit the online order form. Guest tickets will be released in mid-May (check back for the exact date). To retrieve your guest tickets login to AccessSheridan, follow the link to "
myStudent Centre" and click on
"Guest Tickets". Due to limited seating at the Living Arts Centre you will be limited to two (2) guest tickets.
Step 2 – Print the guest tickets once your receive them and bring them with you to your ceremony. Please do not misplace your tickets as it may not be possible to issue replacements.
Location and Time
- All convocation ceremonies will be held at The Living Arts Centre, 4141 Living Arts Drive, north of City Centre Drive in Mississauga, Ontario.
- Refer to the schedule to determine the convocation date and time for your program.
- Please arrive at the Living Arts Centre at least one hour prior to your scheduled ceremony in order to receive your graduation robe and to be lined up to participate in the graduation processional. Be sure to give the guest tickets to your guests.
- Proceed immediately to the Robing Room when you arrive.
- Guests must be seated 20 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. Guests arriving after this time will be seated in an appropriate break in the ceremony.
Refreshments
Light refreshments will be served immediately following the ceremony.
All Graduates
Please return your robe and hoods following the ceremony. Robes and/or hoods removed from the Living Arts Centre will be charged to the graduate.
Available for sale at convocation will be:
- Frames for sale by the Alumni Office for your diploma
- Rings and memorabilia for sale by the Follets Bookstore
- Congratulatory floral bouquets for sale by Convocation Flowers
- Seating for family portraits will be available at the Living Arts Centre by Jordon Morrison photography
- Video of the entire ceremony will be for sale at the end of your convocation ceremony.
- A Sheridan Information booth will be located in the lobby of the Living Arts Centre for any additional information you may need.
- Overnight accommodations are available at the Sheridan Residence in Brampton or Oakville for $59.95/suite. For reservations, please call our toll-free number 1-877-225-8664 and ask to be transferred to your preferred location. When making your reservation, please ask for the Sheridan Convocation rate.
