Karl Henrik Robèrt Keynote Address: Leading Change: The Role of Applied Colleges in Sustainable Development

Monday, October 18th, 2010. 2-3 pm.  Macdonald Heaslip Hall (also known as Sheridan Theatre) Trafalgar Road Campus, Oakville, ON

A 30-minute presentation to:
• Describe:  the role of applied colleges in sustainable development and the need to establish common ground as a basis for collective action
• Demonstrate how sustainability can be a driver of collaboration, innovation and value creation for society through business, communities and academic institutions
• Highlight successful examples in the academic field

This presentation will be augmented by case studies, specifically work done at BTH (Blekinge Institute of Technology).  The presentation will be followed by 30 minutes of questions and answers from the audience.
