Sheridan’s General Arts and Science – College Profile Program is ideal for you if you want to study at the college level, but are uncertain of your future academic or career goals. Through this program, you'll develop skills that equip you to enter into other college programs. You'll earn college credits in:
  • Communication
  • Critical thinking
  • Mathematics
  • Computer applications
  • Humanities
  • Social and behavioural sciences
  • General education courses

Many of these college courses are transferable to other programs at Sheridan and may be accepted at other colleges as well.

Throughout the program you'll build the proficiencies and confidence needed to succeed in postsecondary education. Personalized attention in small classes and a focus on academic advising will help to create pathways for your success.

Transfer Opportunities

When you successfully complete the Generals Arts and Science – College Profile Program, you can:
  • Apply to the General Arts and Science – University Profile Program or Health Profile Program
  • Apply to another Sheridan program
  • Apply to other college programs

Although some universities will accept graduates from the one-year College Profile program, the best preparation for a successful academic experience at university is to complete two years of the University Profile.

Generals Arts and Science – College Profile Program is located at the Davis Campus in Brampton, Ontario and at the Trafalgar Road Campus in Oakville, Ontario.

A primary reason students choose the Sheridan General Arts and Science – College Profile Program is to access other programs within the college system.
